“I really liked the history of the property and that it has been restored to a place for travelers to stay. This is my second stay -2024, and chose it again this year.”

“Easy check in/out. Right in the centre of town and right next to co-op. Host called in the afternoon to check us on our experience, which was nice and thoughtful. ”

“Great concept. Few areas to improve. Loose handles on drawers. Dust in cups. Water in appliances. Bathroom bin not emptied leaving wonderment what else was missed. Shower would benefit from a more thorough clean with a brush. Shower hose grooves and areas within the shower holding mold. Bed ok but would benefit from a firmer mattress as they maintain shape better. Crisper cotton sheets. Although white they didn’t look the cleanest. Large mirror damage and cracked. All in all ok stay but for the……

“An excellent stay, with a great room and facilities. The only ‘quirk’ experienced was a lack of personal interaction with the owners after being taken to the room. Highly recommended ”

“Couldn't comment on staff because we didn't see any. But saying that the room was clean, bed comfortable and adequate supplies. Excellent shower and wash facilities. Handy for Chirk Castle and British Ironworks Park. ”
