“The rooms don't have coffee makers in them. Considering the age of the hotel, and rustic nature of the building and rooms, I believe the price is a bit too high. I believe the cost should be about half of what they actually are. I don't mind the rustic style of the rooms and hotel, because I'm a no frills kind of person anyway, I'm just saying that the quality doesn't match the price.”

“Breakfast was wonderful and staff during breakfast were helpful. My kids loved the pool and the front desk were kind checking in and out.”

“The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. The Innkeeper (Erin) is a fantastic and helpful aspect of your experience, too. Highly recommended!!”

“Being an external property, or motel, I had bad images in my head. But I was proven wrong! Excellent all the way around. Will return when needed. Terrific staff as well!”

“I’ve seen jail cells in third world countries cleaner than this dive! I needed a dry place to escape from the rain while traveling on my motorcycle,which is the only reason I stayed. I wouldn’t even take a shower in this dump. Toilet paper filling a hole in the window. God knows what running down the wall. Expedia should remove this property from the site. Did I mention the working girls!”
