“Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east.”

“This resort is older and the rooms are dated and could use a refresh; however, they were clean and the bed was comfortable which is really all we expected since we didn't plan on being in the room the whole trip. We did the all-inclusive option which gives you access to two restaurants and two bars .... drinks were great and we found the food was very good overall. Those who enjoy this resort are the laid back type ... don't expect the Ritz or top tier furnishings and amenities. Bongolo Bay is……

“The property is beautiful the staff was good. They don’t have everyday guest service: u have to call them if you need clean towels and toilet tissue or clean sheets. The service is not automatic like everywhere else that’s the only thing I didn’t like. Overall it is a very beautiful property ”
