“This is an easy place to stay. It’s as advertised - new and very clean. When we booked we were trying to decide between a place in road town on the hill or this location. As we went through the week - we were so happy to stay on the West end of the island. Sopers Hole is a short 10-15 drive, Smuggler’s Cove is 10 minutes, Long Bay Beach is literally over the hill and Cane Garden bay is about 20-25 minutes. So, there are plenty of restaurants and awesome beaches close by. Val, the property……

“Our host, Caroline, was by far the best host we have ever encountered anywhere!! She went out of her way, literally, to make sure we had what we needed. From helping to get groceries delivered, to refilling propane to grill, to arranging transportation…we could not have asked for more. And the villa was absolutely perfect. Amazing views, equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable and relaxing. ”

“The home was not far from things to do, however, it afforded us complete privacy. We loved sitting on the outside decks at all times of the day sipping coffee or drinks and taking in the view. There was a good supply of nice furniture on the deck. The home had a somewhat eclectic style, was open and airy, had everything we needed, and was quite comfortable. To get to the bedrooms, you had to go outside and down the stairs to the lower level but that didn't bother us. Especially loved the outdoor……

“We were very fortunate enough to select this house to stay in for a week during our trip to BVI and Tortola. This place sits high above the ocean with magnificent views, steady breezes flowing throughout and almost no outside noises which provides perfect tranquility. The owners, Chris and Karen, were gracious hosts and went above and beyond expectations to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. They even lent us a vehicle to drive to a restaurant for dinner……

“You can't beat the private pool and view from everywhere in the villa. It was so nice we didn't want to leave the property. Recommend an all-wheel drive small SUV (our Kia was pefect) to get up the steep, twisty and narrow road. Mackie, the villa manager, was wonderful and extremely responsive to our needs. We were a little disappointed when we arrived that it was not there. And we could not get the outdoor speakers to work. Super practical configuration for our family (would be great for any larger group) - plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own, spread out enough to feel like you have your own space, and large centralized gathering areas like kitchen, dining, and living area and pool deck that easily accommodate everyone. “It is important to make clear that the Long Bay Villas have NOTHING to do with the Long Bay Beach Resort. Though the condo itself was quite nice (having 2 bathrooms was a plus), the fact that we could not enjoy the gorgeous pool area that we looked out to steps away was very unfortunate. Though the owner did mention in the very last line of the Notes section the pool was off limits, there was a photo of the pool area in the description so I assumed we could enjoy it.
