“This was the perfect place for my family to use as a home base while we were staying in Port Elgin. The home was spotless, and had absolutely everything we needed - lots of towels and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Beds were comfortable! The amenities on the property were great! Mel & Rob were very helpful, accommodating and pleasant to chat with! Would love to come back again! ”

“The cottage surpassed our expectations. It has a wonderful layout and beautiful views of the surrounding forest and inviting lake. It was clean, comfortable and very peaceful. The canoe and kayaks were easy to access and use. The firepit was in a great location for watching the sun set over the lake while setting up the fire. We also enjoyed hiking and shopping in the area. Overall, the cottage provided for a perfect holiday experience!”

“Had a really nice stay. Cottage is cute and was very clean. Great location - minutes from the town of Flesherton but property feels like we are isolated, very peaceful- good home base for our day trips. Caution that the third bedroom does not have 4 walls & you have to walk through it to get to the master bedroom. Not a problem for us as we only needed 2 bedrooms but I wouldn’t have wanted that one.”

Lots of movies and books to entertain you on a rainy day, and the cottage is rustic, but has everything you need. Mark is a fantastic host, keeping you updated on the area before your stay, and check in with you once you arrive to make sure you have everything you need.
