"The room was spacious and hand-me-down chic. Loved the large bathtub and the huge windows (though didn't love the view of an ugly rooftop). The contactless experience went well. The neighborhood is full of great places to eat, including Hey, Babe right downstairs. The mattress is pretty firm, so if you like a cushiony mattress as I do, you might not be as comfortable, but it's probably fine for most people. Great place to stay. I definitely recommend the hotel overall.
One thing that made the stay a little less awesome -- and I'm really hoping that it was just an anomaly for our room-- was the electrical wiring, or all things. The bright overhead lights for the entryway, bed area, and sitting area were all on one switch... AND this switch had to be on for the bathroom lights to turn on! (We tried every switch every which way, and nope, no bathroom light without bright overhead lights.) This meant that at night, you have a choice of flooding the whole unit with light OR trying to navigate and use a windowless, unfamiliar bathroom in pitch darkness. "
