“The trip was good enough for a good price. It was clean enough and the environment was fine. Just that we did not get house keeping unfortunately and we did not recieve extra towels. The shower as well was a bit bad, water did not come out right but overall it was great. ”

“Great service and super service during our one night stay as we were attending a wedding in the area. Very friendly staff and super location where we saw several animals from the deck where we were having breakfast. I highly recommend this lodge.”

“The highlight of our stay was meeting local Boer war expert and historian Rob Milne, who is based at the museum on site. We spent an immensely enjoyable hour and a half chatting about history and the remarkable stories that took place in SA. ”

“Very primitive hotel without the air conditioning though the web site of Hotels.com said "air conditioning". There was the frog in the bathroom. However the people there were good and friendly. It will be Ok if you want to experience the primitive life of the local South African. Otherwise you'll be disappointed. You experience the hundred years ago primitive life. Don't expect the modern life comfort. The African local dance show is great.”
