“Great stay really quiet in the middle of nowhere which for us was great. Nature was all around us (rabbits everywhere) the only down side was the WiFi yes they are on copper cables but maybe they could do with a WiFi extender as we couldn’t get WiFi in our room but that does not detract from what a great place it was. ”

“Beautiful rustic guest house with original interior furnishings, like going back in time. Do not stay here if you expect something like a travelodge!! Facilities were fine, decent WiFi and shower, and host very helpful and makes breakfast for visitors ”

“I arrived late due to work, and was met with nothing but warm welcome. I went straight to bed as an early start. I was offered breakfast at 7:30 so I could get on my way, which was cooked fresh and was brilliant. Top people, I’ll be back. ”

“This is self check in place and I didn’t know that as on my email about check in details it was answered with guess house names. So had really big problem finding place then arrived with no code for key safe box. Place overall was mess full of cabin crew yungsters partying, fair enough they were helpful as they contacted landlord so I got a room key. I received email with check in details next day…”

“Was attending an event at Arthur Findlay College in nearby Stansted-Mountfitchet and this place was ideal and also a great value. The innkeeper was super friendly and helpful and had a good energy. Would definitely recommend. ”
