「Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again.」

「We had a lovely 3 day break at Costal. The house and location is perfect for a family get together, house is child friendly with an enclosed sunny garden, and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. There’s games and toys for the children and even boogie boards to take to the beach. If you need any help they respond with quickly.」

「The property was in a fantastic location, with excellent views. The pair of little grebes on the pond were a joy to watch. The property was within easy reach of the town centre, which has much to offer. The property was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa was not comfortable if you have the slightest back issue (style over function), but we didn't spend that much time on it. We enjoyed the balcony, and peace and quiet of the location. We will be back!」

「We have stayed at Old Lock Cottage a few times and every time it has been a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The cottage was recently renovated and decorated to a high standard. Home from home. There is parking for 3 cars. The Boathouse restaurant in the marina is only 5 minutes walk. A great cottage and one we will be happy to return too.」
