“Taino wood was a great place for camping. Chantel and her husband Jesse are great host and are very welcoming and kind. Nice place to enjoy with your family in the nature. There were many tent sites inside their woods and we occupied the site called:Turey. We set up 3 tents (two 4-people tents and one 6-people tent). There was a firepit we used to cook food and Chantel and Jesse lend us a pot to cook. Before leaving Chantel, Jesse and a few of their friends sang indigenous songs and played……

We did not feel cramped or unsafe and the complementary tea was a hit! One thing to note is that both of the beds were low to the ground (below knee level) so if someone has knee or back problems, it might be difficult to stand up out of bed. ”

Just down the road, there is a short walk with a beautiful vista, which was the longest distance we could have possibly done (0.65mi each way). I would absolutely come back here for more fall weekends! Perfect for young families. The only risk is there is a staircase - would bring a baby gate next time.”
