"The whole park had an atmosphere of lack of maintenance. Peeling paint, rotten wood panels, old plumbing/fittings left unused on the walls. The verandah on our cabin felt like we could step through the wood any moment - they had also covered a hole with a mat.. our cabin had no running water - we had to go outside to a hole in the fence where a tap poked out for our use. The unit’s power points tripped out but they knew all about it as this happens all the time if too many appliances were being used. (We had a toaster, kettle going along with their small fridge and heater). The women’s showers were non existent (2 + 1disabled) The shower heads were either cracked with water squirting in all directions or simply squirted horizontally making it impossible to use it hands free. Mould at the hand basins.
The only good thing about it was the fact it was a short walk to a tourist attraction. The ladies who were in the office were efficient and receptive to requests. (I asked for a pot to use)"
