"This place was our favorite stay on our honeymoon. The views are unmatched, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing at night and the place had everything we needed. It looked just like the photos. You’ll definitely need a car (or have to figure out the bus system) to get here, but we loved being in a more remote location. Truly beautiful. Highly recommend!"

"Stunning unobstructed view of Matterhorn. Both the owner and the property manager were so generous over the duration of our stay when we had two day power outage in April 2025 due to record breaking snow storm. Very clean room and neatly kept laundry room. Easy access to Glacier Paradise Gondola.My wife and daughters really enjoyed the area. Highly recommend it to family with preteen/teen age kids. Walk to bus stop was a bit tiring, but good warm up in the morning."

"Just got back from our stay in Papillon, a charming cabin perched in on a hillside in Val d’Herens. The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped. The view was spectacular, beds very comfortable, kitchen equipped with everything needed to enjoy the holiday. One bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor so my elderly parents didn’t have to climb the stairs. "it is one of my favourite accommodation of my trip. the staff area so nice and it is next to the cable car station and could assets to the train station via the cable car station. I love the balcony with an amazing view of eiger mountain. there is a microwave at the breakfast area and it would be great to heat the food at the balcony of the room. the only thing I would suggest for improvement is installing a door at the bathroom. I would recommend to stay here instead of staying in the centre of Grindelwald."
