「This was the perfect base for hiking in the Bernese Obelrand. The house was excellent and I appreciated the attention to detail. It was cozy, and had everything we needed. Plus a nice yard and a great view from the terrace. 」

「Stunning unobstructed view of Matterhorn. Both the owner and the property manager were so generous over the duration of our stay when we had two day power outage in April 2025 due to record breaking snow storm. Very clean room and neatly kept laundry room. Easy access to Glacier Paradise Gondola.My wife and daughters really enjoyed the area. Highly recommend it to family with preteen/teen age kids. Walk to bus stop was a bit tiring, but good warm up in the morning.」

「Everything about chalet Sulegg was as expected in terms of accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We did a little laundry too.The view was breathtakingly stupendous! Changing all day with clouds coming and going. The walk up and down is pretty extreme, 200 vertical feet in about a third of a mile. We took a cab up on departure day with luggage, 25 CHF, worth every penny. I would recommend taking a cab down on your first day, the driver knows...

「This location was just perfect - the view alone would have sold us, but the house also was very clean, and was located right across from the bus stop. Xiufen was extremely responsive and set us up on advance with the Panorama pass which makes most bus trips free, and gives discounts on some attractions. Suggest to take train to Thun and bus to the location. Close to a walking suspension bridge and nice trail, also close to an extensive cave system worth visiting. 」

「Wir haben die Woche in dem wunderschönen Chalet sehr genossen. Die Lage ist wirklich einmalig, die Aussicht über die Berge ist beeindruckend und die Möglichkeiten gleich ein paar Wanderungen von dort aus zu starten, hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Empfehlung für das Restaurant Moosalp war ein sehr guter Tipp, dort hat es nach dem wandern hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Kinder haben den großen Fernseher geliebt. In der Bücher- und Kartensammlung haben wir gerne und interessiert gelesen, etwas ganz...

「Very big apartment with wonderful view of the mountains. The owner was very kind and helpful. The kitchen was marvellous. We all loved staying there. 」

「This place was our favorite stay on our honeymoon. The views are unmatched, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing at night and the place had everything we needed. It looked just like the photos. You’ll definitely need a car (or have to figure out the bus system) to get here, but we loved being in a more remote location. Truly beautiful. Highly recommend!」

"Very nice view everywhere in the small town. Many choices of restaurants and activities nearby. Supermarkets, souvenir shops, train terminal within walking distance. Western castle style 5 stars hotel, staff perfectly nice and helpful. Not air- conditioned is the only consideration, a bit hot during summer time."

"The hotel is right by the bus stop Jungfraustrasse, you can easily walk to Interlaken West train station—superb convenient. Tbh we booked this hotel last minute so it may be expensive, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel room only had triple type J sockets, and none of my adapters fit! Fortunately, the staff quickly brought us adaptors, which was awesome."

"Pros: located on Main Street of Interlaken, easy to walk everywhere. Spacious, modern rooms with AC that actually makes the rooms cool. Bright lights in the rest room. There is also a small terrace and partial view of mountains from the room. Cons: Understaffed for two days - room wasn’t cleaned until 4-5 PM, only one person at the front desk, staff was super busy during breakfast. The day when we are about to leave, there is a new team of staff that is much more efficient and responsive. Breakfast selection is very limited compared to other hotels of similar grade. Tiny elevator due to the building being old. Overall, the service could be better for the price of this hotel. "
