Quick escape!

My husband and I spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves. The king bed was a little soft for our liking but still had a good nights sleep. The view is incredible off the deck and the simple decor makes it easy to feel calm and relaxed. Communication and suggestions prior to our visit were very helpful in planning our stay!

Fantastic getaway

The Mill & Waterfall was amazing! Highly recommend!Could’ve spent the whole time on the deck! Location was great for exploring in and around the creek. Short drives to Mount Airy and Hanging Rock.Place was outstanding, as was the communication with the hosts. Will definitely consider a return trip!

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The waterfall was amazing! The view is incredible! We love old homes so this was right up our alley. They have done an amazing job with it so far and can't wait to visit again in the winter months!!! Definitely adding this spot to one of our routine locations!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We had such a wonderful time at such a unique place. The sound of the waterfall was so peaceful, and we enjoyed the hot tub and grilling out, as well as hiking at Hanging Rock. We would definitely go again!

Enchanting Home Away From Home

The home is so inviting, comfy and full of history. The water is mesmerizing and tranquil. The area is surrounded by majestic mountains, walking trails that lead to serene waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife. It is like stepping into a little piece of heaven!

Great spot for a relaxing getaway.

I was looking for somewhere to just relax and unwind for my birthday and this place was perfect. I enjoyed taking in the view and sounds of the waterfall on the back deck, walking the property for different views, and having a soak in the hot tub. Clean place, comfortable bed, owner provides good info about the area and responds quickly.

Great girl's trip!

The property is absolutely stunning. The waterfall is so soothing and the home is beautiful. We enjoyed day hikes and hanging out in the hot tub in the evenings. Highly recommend!!

Had a great experience staying at The Mill. The location was perfect (close enough to town and far enough away for quiet). The Mill had everything we needed and it's absolutely beautiful. So many windows! The natural light was fantastic 🤩 Hope so make it back!!

A unique, historical, relaxing, fun place to stay. Amazing deck!!! Convenient to Hanging Rock, Pilot Mountain and Mt.Airy. Comfy bed and well stocked kitchen. Picture perfect and beautiful setting

We had a great experience at the mill. The hot tub was wonderful. The decor was charming. We loved sitting on the deck watching the blue heron fish for hours. Recommend Hanging Rock and Wolf Rock trails. Enjoyed kayaking with the Dan River Company and loved Midsummer Brewing less than a mile away.
