Great break away. Peaceful and Quiet. Perfect for a couple to go somewhere out of the hustle and bustle of life. Out of town, yet close enough to go for dinner.

Lovely accommodation

I had a lovely stay at the signal box. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was gorgeous and the shower nice and powerful. There were fresh flowers in the room and a bowl of fruit from the orchard. And of course, the amazing view!

Signal Box is barely beyond the 100km speed sign on the West side of the Whanganui River, north of Whanganui itself....only 10/15 minutes from the city centre, it is is tranquilness personified, native birds abound, modern fitout of an historic railway signal box to make for a superb hideaway.....(NB. one thing: it only has microwave for cooking..but with the city itself - who cares), great shpwer btw, and plunger coffee was a bonus ...many thanks Renee and Aaron
