Had a wonderful time in Whitby.

Had a wonderful time in Whitby. The cottage is located brilliantly for the centre. Although parking is tricky, once parked we didn't need to use the car until we left and managed to find free parking. Everything that you need is at the cottage and it is nicely decorated throughout. I would recommend a stay here.

Sea Dog Cottage is a really comfy cottage nestled off the Main Street across a pretty yard and up some steps. The cottage was perfectly positioned for our first trip to Whitby. The cottage has everything we required for the week we stayed and we found the owner was easy to contact when the smoke alarm was beeping and the issue was quickly resolved. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The property was nice but as soon as you walked in it smelt of Dog - I understand it’s call the sea dog cottage but did expect it to smell like one. Also the check in terrible I tried to contact VRBO who just give me an automated response and same as Expedia. Had to look up from the sign on the door the cottage company to get in. Really really bad and very frustrating. To be honest I have have an issue with VRBO before but Expedia are usually good but not this time.
