It was really nice being next to the steam train station. Even though the steam trains ran during the day it was still a peaceful environment. Hosts were really lovely and helpful.

Mini Break

The cottage was in a prime location on Grosmont Station and seeing the steam/diesel engines going past your window was something spectacular.Upon arrival the Host wasn't aware of our arrival, this was down to Vrbo not informing the Host of our booking so when we arrived the cottage wasn't ready/clean for our stay, but once I got in touch with the Host this was rectified and was very apologetic, i'm sure if the host knew they where expecting guests the cottage would have been spotless, but it was a quick clean otherwise I would have given more stars.It's worth messaging the Host to make sure they have received your booking to avoid disappointmentI will definately be returning as it's a very special place.
