Set all on one level on the ground floor, this is a modern and beautifully presented apartment perfect for two. You are only a 10-minute stroll downhill to the harbour and the heart of the town.. All on the Lower Ground Floor:

No smoking.. Steeped in history, this destination enthrals the guests who visit, drawing people from around the world with many sights, attractions and a fascinating history to discover.

The private entrance to the apartment is around the rear of the property where you have your own enclosed yard which is small but beautifully presented, with a Mediterranean feel, making this a nice space to sit out with a cup of coffee.

Stepping inside you have a carefully laid out and well presented open living area, complete with a modern and well equipped kitchen, so that you can create romantic meals to share. The bedroom has an inviting kingsize bed where you are ensured a comfortable night’s sleep with a high quality mattress and soft luxurious linen. You also have a shower room where you can start or end each day refreshed. The owners have lovingly furnished this apartment with your comfort in mind, ensuring you have the warmest welcome to Whitby.

Whitby is a proud seafaring town; you can find out more at the museums or even first hand up at the abbey ruins. Walk through the whale bone archway on the West Cliff or visit the shipwreck on Saltwick Bay and look up into the cliffs to spot the smugglers’ tunnels. For those who wish to experience the wonders of this inspiring area, why not take a long, lazy walk amid the scenic beauty of the North York Moors National Park, which can be accessed by the heritage steam train winding its way through the rolling hills of heather? You can also explore quaint coastal villages such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes or Runswick Bay. Take in the sights along the seafront at Filey, Scarborough or Saltburn. And if you’re a history buff, take a trip into York to soak up the culture brought by both the Romans and the Vikings.

Closer to home, you are just a leisurely stroll away from the many attractions the popular seaside town of Whitby has to offer, including the long golden stretch of sandy beach, the 199 steps up to the St Mary’s Church perched on the cliff top, the boat trips and the freshly caught fish and seafood. In the evenings you have the most relaxing holiday home to return to, where you can unwind around the wood burner whilst planning the adventures for the days ahead. Beach ¾ mile. Lovely flat. Shame about the noise

Lovely flat in a great location close to centre of Whitby. Immaculately clean and well presented. Unfortunately the noise from the property above/adjoining was horrendous. It sounded like they were in the same room as us. They had young children who were awake at the crack of dawn and running around above us for hours on end. For this reason we would not consider returning. It’s a shame because it’s a great little flat.
