“Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.”

“From the moment we arrived we settled in immediately. Everything we needed was there.Quiet ,spacious and comfortable rooms for 4 adults and two children. Outdoor space was lovely to sit out when the weather was good, great views too.and private parking for cars. So handy for Chester,easy park and ride, the zoo Liverpool,West Kirby, Cheshire Oaks retail.Loved the White Lion with good food ,plenty seating in and out. Definitely recommend the beautiful Old Stables.”

“Everything was spotlessly clean Perfectly set up cottage Very warm welcome for the host and she was very helpful with everything the cottage and host was perfect and i would highly recommend it The only thing that was challenging was the booking slow communication through the apps and having to download 3 different apps to receive messages about the booking then a phone call to cottago.com and the booking reference didn’t tally and i had to pay again because their system was playing up for……

“Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday. ”

“We had a fantastic week at Elsie's Cottage. Everything was provided including a lovely treat hamper. The cottage was beautiful and in a wonderful location. Great for dog walking with walks direct from the door. We will definitely be going back.”

“First impressions good but the unnecessarily steep stairs were a cause of concern throughout our stay. The property is very well equipped but we were surprised to find there is no washing machine. We suggest that this is specifically mentioned in the listing.”

“Everything about this property was great. There were a few minor issues. One was the metal strip keeping down the carpet leading to the small bedroom had some screws sticking up. We threw a towel over it and moved on. Had we reported it I’m sure it would have been taken care of. Also, would have liked a place to set our toiletries in the bathroom. Some sort of shelf. The decor was nice and everything was clean. Would reccomend this place.”
