Nice Getaway

We enjoyed the quietness and privacy of the cabin. It was a beautiful property and very relaxing sitting and listening to the creek. The cabin had all the necessities. We would stay here again.

This property was amazing! My wife and I stayed there for our 15th anniversary and had a wonderful time. The creek is so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed listening to nature as we ate breakfast out on the covered front porch every morning. Our favorite part was relaxing in the hot tub late at night. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Romantic Getaway

We absolutely loved pulling up to this property and seeing the quaint little cabin and rushing creek! It was the perfect getaway for us! We took advantage of the entire property from the creek to the fire pit! Highly recommend staying at Cabin on the Creek!

It is a nature lovers dream and we were left speechless every day. My husband and I have stayed in a lot of mountain cabins and this one by far was the best as far as feeling truly welcomed and the little amenities were superb. We will definitely be back to this cabin and this beautiful sacred area of North Carolina! Yellow Rose was amazing to work with!

Very nice!

This place was great for my partner and I - we were here for three nights. Our favorite features were the hot tub, the fire pit, and the living room. The bed is not very comfortable and there are a lot of fees associated with booking, but those are the only things I'd really change. We would definitely consider coming back!

28th Anniversary

Cabin on the Creek was simply amazing. The views of the babbling creek were beautiful and cleared your mind of all the noise. The cabin was simply and comfortable, the hot tub was perfect for long conversations and wine. We want to experience every season here, bird watching isn't exactly prime in the winter, so we will be back. 100% satisfied.

Absolutely amazing

This was an amazing experience and was so beautiful. Me and the wife couldn't have asked for a better experience. Internet was down the whole time, but the whole point of getting away is to get away from the normal everyday life. This would still not steer us away from coming back. Thank you for an overall amazing experience and we will be returning.

Perfect retreat

The cabin was peaceful and perfect for a home base while exploring the Smokies. An older review mentions how the bed had no headboard so he was "chasing his pillow" all night - the good news is, there was a terrific new bed frame by the time we got there so that isn't a concern anymore. One thing to note is the road up is pretty steep and bumpy, with the final stretch being mainly gravel - but on our last day, the worst stretches were paved over so it'll be even easier to get up to the cabin than before. We'll be back!

Hot tub worked and was warm, you can hear the creek from it. The wifi was down the whole time, but the tv worked so it was fine!

Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, the fire pit, the hot tub, the porch swing, the privacy, and that wonderful creek babbling down the driveway! We have no complaints, but do want folks to be aware that the only bed is up an awkward staircase in the loft. There is a futon and a sleeper sofa in the living room, but no real bedroom. We didn’t mind it, but we realized that we couldn’t recommend the cabin to our parents.

Simply Wonderful!

We loved our two weeks at Cabin on the Creek. It's an amazing place if you want to retreat and unwind. The cabin is a great size for the two of us, and it is well-equipped. The hot tub is awesome after a busy day, and the constant sound of the rushing creek is relaxing all the time. Our favorite day trips were tubing on Deep Creek, and hiking to Albright Grove to see old growth trees in the Smoky Mountains. And we loved getting takeout at the Haywood Smokehouse in Dillsboro - it really is the best BBQ we've ever been to. We were there in May and it rained a fair bit, so we didn't sit down by the water as often as we would have liked, but it was still warm enough to eat on the porch. The cabin feels remote (especially the first time up to gravel road), but it's only 15 minutes or so into Whittier. We had a wonderful two weeks and recommend this cabin especially to couples that want to get away.

More than expected

The pictures don't do it justice. They aren't bad pics, but they are missing the glory that you experience when you are there. The song of the creek! Wow! The hot tub was ready and inviting. The cabin was absolutely clean, comfortable and peaceful. Every part of this cabin and property was thoughtful. We drank coffee next to the creek, filled the bird feeders, sat on the porch (in the 3 different seating areas), I was able to wash clothes while sitting around the firepit. I rocked in the rocking chair infront of the fireplace while watching satellite TV. There are books to read, games and puzzles, DVDs and NATURE. The cabin was easy to get to. It's also very private, but not scary. Only an easy 15 minutes to Bryson and maybe 25 minutes to Cherokee. Highly recommend! Comfortably fits a couple, but could fit a small family.

I cannot express the feelings of peace we felt sitting there watching the water flowing and hearing the sounds. This cabin is a place where you can literally renew your soul. The cabin was clean and had everything you needed. The hot tub was amazing, what a wonderful experience. The staff at Yellow Rose Real Estate were very friendly and helpful. We were concerned with the possibility of snow coming to the area and not being able to get down the mountain, but the staff at Yellow Rose put our concerns at ease. Thank you. This is a cabin that we will definitely come back to. P.S. this is the only place we have ever stayed that my husband did not want to leave! He just kept saying, I could live here.

Quit, clean, nature sounds.

If you love the sound of moving water coupled by the calmness of nature, this is the place for you! Yellow Stone was on point with their communication (check your email once you book) and were helpful along the way via phone call. We will 100% be staying here again.
