"This is the cutest cabin I've ever stayed in! It's so cozy and peaceful and stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was easy to access, very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 20 minutes to West Jefferson. We walked around downtown West Jefferson, shopped & had lunch and then visited Old Barn Winery. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back another time! Thanks for having us, Paul!"

"Four of us stayed for a girls trip. We loved the cabin and the hot tub! It cooled off enough to use the indoor fireplace. The beds were comfortable. Our was negative was the kitchen was not as clean as we would have expected to find it. Not nasty by far but needed to be wiped down good before we prepared meals. Overall a great experience and we would definitely would stay here again."

"This rustic cabin is so cute. The decor is perfect and you’ll find everything you need there. It was the perfect place to stay to see Boone, Blowing Rock and the BlueRidge Parkway. We saw deer every morning in this peaceful setting. We even brought our dog, who had a great time on our family vacation."

"The cabin, property and amenities were all as described and perfect for our stay. No complaints or issues at all! Directions to the cabin were spot on, check in process was seamless, and communication with the host was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. The game room with cornhole, pool and foosball kept us entertained! The cabin and grounds were clean upon check in! Great parcel of land, great views on the deck, and perfect spot for a fire pit!You're out there for sure, so be sure to pack everything you'll need, otherwise its 30 minutes to a store. The road is gravel for the last 2 miles or so, but my 2wd SUV handled it with no problem as there were no big ruts, holes, etc."

"We were looking for a base to ride adventure bikes throughout the area and the cabin was perfect for what we needed. There was a minor problem opening the door but it was kind of my fault. Entry was well described in one of the emails. I just had to search for the email, between the VRBO app, VRBO emails and owner emails it was difficult to isolate through the 10 different emails. Not Wallys fault it’s like that a lot of the time with VRBO. I should have been more organized."
