Avila Beach Hotel

"The property was beautiful. The rooms (blues wing) were spotless. The property did listen to a request I made, I appreciated that. Location was very helpful as you can walk to many restaurants. The property, was relaxing and 2 beaches pretty quiet. Snorkeling was pretty good. No problem getting a beach chair most times. Cons; the hotel hosts weddings, birthday parties, etc and will shut down amenities/sections of the resort with minimal (less than 24 hrs) notice.At their prices I thought that was a problem. The restaurants on the property served good food. Prices were high in my opinion. Service was hit or miss. The gym was very nice and modern. The hot tub was a miss. Not in great shape, closed before advertised time on 2 occasions and in awkward spot that required a staff member to unlock access. Staff was hit or miss. Emily at the front desk was so very friendly and helpful. Very nice way to get checked in . Matilda who was the cleaning staff on our floor was definitely a highlight for us. She was exceptional, friendly and keeps that place spotless. And Luz at the blues was also friendly and welcoming."

"Only 2 issues. No entertainment or good music on the Rif side, way too quiet. The Rif side is not adults only, children everywhere. Also, no water in the refrigerator, they give you a water bottle which you have to continuously refill from the fountain."

"I loved this resort. The staff were so friendly and kind. Everyone had a smile on their face and my family and I couldn’t have appreciated that more. My only suggestion would be to add some more food options. I liked the pizza but it was cooked inconsistently . Otherwise the property and rooms are beautiful with plenty of storage space. The resort also offers adapters for electrical plugs which was great."

"Our annual sisters' trip was made truly unforgettable thanks to the incredible team at Renaissance Wind Creek. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, we felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely appreciated. It's rare to find a hotel where every interaction leaves you feeling like your presence truly matters, but Renaissance Wind Creek delivered exactly that. The warmth, professionalism, and kindness of the staff were consistent throughout our entire stay. Every time we returned to the hotel, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a level of hospitality that made us feel right at home. It was clear that the team takes great pride in ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, some of our experiences outside the hotel were not as pleasant, as we did not always encounter the same friendliness while exploring the island. However, knowing we could return to the welcoming atmosphere of Renaissance Wind Creek made all the difference. The outstanding service and sincere appreciation shown by the staff helped every frustration melt away the moment we walked through the doors. I cannot recommend Renaissance Wind Creek highly enough. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for throughout your stay, this is the hotel for you. Thank you to the entire team for making our sisters' trip so memorable. We will absolutely be back! 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

Sunscape Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino - All Inclusive

"Beautiful property, gorgeous ocean, many pools, ocean rocked off so easy to swim in ocean. Loved sunscape amenities like private pool, upscale liquor, vip services , minibar in room, concierge Kareen was fabulous when I needed help!! Kenneth and Beverly were fabulous bartenders and kind people!! Natalie, Verona, Peter, Harthan were great in the restaurants always sweet, nice , helpful, fun, made our stay even nicer!! All these wonderful staff made our stay fabulous 👌 only issue was checkin process was extremely lacking!!! But Kareen made it all better next day!!!!"
