“This house is in a cute historic neighborhood close to the capital. Perfect for morning and evening walks. Less than 10 minutes to Buffalo Trace distillery. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Just what we needed for a couple of nights while in Frankfort for a family event. Great price! Older apartment buildings, this building was in the front part of complex, our parking lot had out of state license plates, I believe other buildings were long term rentals. Inside was updated, we would stay again.”

“We booked this property to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family. There was so much to do here. The weather was perfect so we were outside a lot. Most of our time was spent in the beautiful pool and hot tub. There was also a tree house and trampoline that the kids enjoyed. Our host had prepared the fire pit for us so we enjoyed and evening around the fire. It was a perfect 4 days! The host lived close and was very helpful. There was seating for everyone inside and outside. Our daughter……

“Charming old home in a great central location, quiet neighborhood. Chic decor, comfy beds, clean, well-stocked with everything we needed. The back yard is absolutely divine and we loved relaxing in the salt water pool.”

“The house was very clean, looked just like the pictures. Entry was easy. There weren’t any wash clothes that I could find or a paper telling us what to do before leaving…. So we did what we typically do when we stay other places. Also check the street view before you book. That street made us a little uncomfortable. But we didn’t have any issues with the neighbors. Over all it was fine for the 1 night we needed!”

“The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.”

“This historic home is in the best neighborhood in Lexington, right in the middle of other historic homes and walking distance to many great restaurants. It is nicely appointed, very clean, and very comfortable. The listing photos depict it very well. My family and I would stay here again.”

“Great location to downtown Bardstown. Easy to get to. Positioned on quiet street. Clean, plenty of room inside. Future enhancement may be to put a small privacy fence, small patio and a couple chairs at back door.”

“Good value for stay in Lexington. We came in for our son’s soccer tournament and it was nice to all have our own room and have a fenced backyard for our dog. We took advantage of the location and did some shopping and eating downtown.”

“I met my 8 girlfriends from college in central Kentucky. The Havilah House was the perfect location for keeneland and bourbon tours and halfway between the bluegrass and Louisville airports. The house is comfortable and well stocked. The host was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. I would highly recommend it.”
