"The first time I stayed here, I just needed a dog friendly place to sleep, so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. On our half a dozen or so trips up here since then, we could have gone fancier, but have preferred to stay here every time. The beds are comfortable. The staff is helpful. It has the basic amenities and it's conveniently located. It's a family-run motel and they do a great job making the gardens beautiful and inviting. We feel totally safe and very welcomed, which is all we ask. And of course, the price is nice."
