“Check in was fast and on time. Just a heads up, when you get here you have to pay a 50 dollar deposit. I received it back later that day after check out. The room was mostly clean and well kept. The bedspread had burn holes, and what looked like lipstick on it. Plenty of lights, AC, refrigerator and microwave worked. TV remote was kind of wonky, but it worked. It would have been nice to have a guide sheet in our room with channels. The bed was a firm mattress, and pillows were ok. The breakfast……

“Nice place to stay with a McDonalds and 7-11 on the premises. Was fortunate to find this in place, as I was on an eclipse trip. They did not inflate their price for eclipse traffic, and I am very grateful for that.”

“The rooms have been recently renovated and are clean, pleasant and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and we appreciated having a microwave and mini fridge. The staff was very friendly! My only suggestion would be to add a bedside lamp. My only complaint is that the room smelled like cigarettes. Personally, I don’t know why cigarette smoking is allowed in any rooms when folks can simply step outside. The odor permeates everything and it was sad to see the burn marks on the lovely new sink.”

“We were here for a weekend, Mary, the host thought of everything. The house had everything we needed, including extras like coffee and waters, shampoo, hairdryer, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened deck for coffee and again in the evening for nostalgic board games and adult beverages. Loved it.”
