"The view was incredible and the amenities were excellent, particularly the various shutters, blinds and window openers to regulate the temperature without need for heating/cooling. If people are cooking, the kitchen could benefit from some updated frypans, pots, utensils etc. But if you're not really cooking much it has everything you need. "

"The Grape Escape was just that- a perfect oasis between the vines mode a lovely long weekend stay. The house was so beautifully styled and was great when staying with a large group with kids with several lounge and dining spaces spread out and enjoy. There were so many considerate comforts for kids (Crockery, cot, cubby house, toys, books) as well as adults (coffee, outside tv to watch the cricket while the kids play, a sweet welcome pack of wine and nuts, pizza oven- we didn’t use but will next time) all made for a relaxing stay. We loved sitting on the deck looking out to vines and eating the running styles of those using the walking track. We used the walking track for the very short walk to the shops and main road and to a couple of local wineries. It really was the perfect spot and we can’t wait to stay again!"

"This is a great four bedroom house in walking distance to anywhere in McLaren Vale town. Very well equipped and furnished. A full kitchen to allow catering at home, also a barbecue and outdoor dining area. The host is helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended."

"Ciaran was the perfect host from the moment we were welcomed at the front door till we left. Everything was provided for. Wonderful breakfasts, homemade cookies tea and coffee and evening port made our stay there very memorable. We were given lots of local information which was most helpful. Would stay there again! "
