"The front desk staff was amazing. The pool was nice and the cabanas were cool, though the cushions were a little old and worn. They did close the entire pool area for one day of our trip for cleaning and maintenance which was a bummer."

"Great hospitality! Good hot breakfast. Clean rooms. Plenty of parking. The staff was great even when having to fill the breakfast again near 10am after inconsiderate guests took excessive plates full of food into the elevator up to their rooms without being considerate of others. Thank you to the wonderful, patient staff for keeping it clean and welcoming. Will certainly consider this hotel again if in the area."

"Stayed here for two nights while touring Wilmington and the beaches. We enjoyed our stay here. Location was good. Didn't feel like the safest area of town but it was close to lots of things (target, food etc). Hotel lobby was modern and the staff was very helpful and friendly at check in! The room was good. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The only negative thing was the pool area was a mess. We went two days in a row to the pool just after lunch time. There were no clean pool towels both days! Dirty towel bin was overflowing both days as well as the garbage. The pool is shared with the Tru hotel and it was packed. Kids everywhere doing whatever they wanted. Never saw a hotel staff cleaning or restocking anything our entire stay. In fact on the first day a group spilled yellow icing from their cake all over the floor inside the entrance to the pool. When we went back the next day it was all still there! Sand all over the bottom of the pool, and the pool beds/chairs were filthy. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Would find something a little nicer, closer to the beach. It's too bad because the room itself was good and the staff were nice."
