“This. Place. Is. Awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing location far from civilization. Great place to go to unplug. I wish we would have had more time to spend there but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Whether you want to do your best impersonation of Henry David Thoreau or get back to basics with the kids you cannot go wrong with this property. The owner is a really nice guy as well. ”

“This was perfect for myself and 2 kids. They played in and very much enjoyed the stream just below the cabin. This location was an excellent base camp- short drive to lots of mountain area fun- The cabin was secluded, very clean and easy to access. Had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended if it’s a good fit for your group.”

“Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see……

“This was an incredibly nice house to stay on the river. The inside of the home was spacious, comfy and very clean upon arrival. It's a very well-kept home. The hot tub was a fantastic addition since we booked the place back in January, and it was a great amenity to wind up having. We used it each night! The house is easy to get to and is in a convenient location to town. The steps, as described are indeed steep and numerous, so this wouldn't be the best option for anyone with mobility……

“I loved the place overall, I only had a few things to mention. There was no shower caddy, there was alot of poison ivy on one of the trees near the deck. There were no directions for the ice maker or directions for connecting to the TV channels. It was very convenient to downtown and parks and trails. Will stay again!”

“It was an awesome cabin in the woods. Everything was great, the beds were very comfortable. We had to walk down hill to the river which was a little steep. Overall, I’d love to stay here again. It’s the perfect spot for me because I love being in the mountains! You could sit out on the deck and watch people float down the river and just sit there and listen to the river and the mountains. Great place to stay! Thank you so much. The town of Lansing is awesome. They have an awesome park there and……
