"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The house was as described, clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The views were stunning. It was early in the season but the fishing was still good.Would definitely return."

"We stayed for a long weekend in early May and it was pretty quiet. The staff were very friendly and housekeeping did an amazing job with our room. I appreciated the cabinet of extra towels and toiletries that are complimentary for guests and it was also so nice to have a water filter station in the lobby! We really liked the location and how we were able to walk to so many stores and restaurants in town. The noise level could be better, but it was to be expected as our room was not attached to the inn. We just turned on the fan for some white noise. About 1-2 hours after checking out, I got a call from the inn, as we had accidentally left a personal item behind. Thank you for being so attentive with us! "

"Looks like new renovation post Vermont-wide flood: nice wood floors and ceiling. Wood/gas stove a very nice feature. New appliances & cupboards: very nice. Our 2 little girls called it a castle because of the circular stair. They also discovered they could remove the plugs at each end of the railing and make a “telephone.” Good house for adventures. Although we tried we did not brave the cold water pools. Another time perhaps. So nice to tell the girls to go outside and play, though. We would like to come again in full summer."

"Love the decor! Beautiful, modern, common areas. The buffet breakfast was good - coffee, yogurt, fruits, nuts, bagels, boiled eggs and more. The location is fabulous - right next to the Stowe recreation path. The staff were great! On the downside, the carpet in the room was dirty/soiled - likely being replaced soon after the beating of the winter season. All in all - we'd go back!"

"The people there are very nice and I love that it is pet friendly, but there was a lot of drug activity around the premises. You can just tell."

"Very clean and cozy cabin. We liked the remote area with beautiful scenery but still appreciated the general store right next door. We had some snowy weather crop up that prevented us from hiking around the area, as is the risk early in the season being fair-weather hikers, but we will try again next time. We so appreciated the dog-friendly stay and the fully stocked kitchen. Thank you."
