I’m honestly really disappointed with my stay. The staff interaction wasn’t great to begin with, but the room condition made it much worse. There were spider webs under the window and around the TV cabinet, which already made the place feel neglected. On top of that, I found bugs in the bathtub, that’s just unacceptable. I even took pictures as proof because it was that bad. The furniture is clearly outdated. The TV drawers and other cabinets barely function, opening and closing them is a struggle. It just feels like nothing has been maintained in a long time. What surprised me the most is that basic things weren’t even provided, no tissue papers, no napkins, not even drinking water in the room. I booked a suite expecting a certain level of comfort, but it honestly felt like a cheap 2-star room. Definitely not worth it, and I left very dissatisfied.

The hotel is being renovated, which gave me a good price, and great value! I didn't hear any construction noise and I enjoyed the swimming pool - lovely warm water, nice steps to access it. Steve at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Location is great - easy access to EC Row and the 401. I would happily stay here again!

Originally when we went to check-in and was told our room was ready, we went and it was still unclean so we went downstairs and dealt with a very apologetic kind, patient front desk person who offered us an upgrade, which was fantastic. Room was very old and outdated. Bed is comfortable but room is quite old, washroom is old too. The room door required lots of strength to open and close it. Phone in the room didn’t work, fridge was placed outside of the cabinet on the floor, light in the closet was broken.

The room was decent and nothing special. It was the quality you would expect for a Holiday Inn. The hotel is located in a convenient area and it was quiet the day we went. I was however, quite disappointed with our stay. The main reason we reserved here was because it was one of the only hotels that offered a hot tub and a pool. When we arrived we found out their hot tub was broken and is likely not going to be fixed aka it will be shut down. The pool was suppposed to be heated but the water was freezing. We only ended up spending about 10 minutes in the pool before we couldn't take it. The pool and hotel were very bland and just seemed like no effort to decorate or make the place look better had been done in a long time. My friends actually joked that the appearance of the pool area was what they imagined a prison pool would look like and they weren't wrong. Overall, I wouldn't elect to stay here again.

Check in was a challange as the first suite we went to the door would not close poperly. They gave us another. It was clean, adequate, but we had to move one of the chairs and found empty bottles. so they need to clean better. The pool area is slippery, its well signed to let you know , please be careful. Pool could have used a skimming. Onsite snacks were UNREASONABLY priced- luckily there are stores around you can go to get what you need. Over all it was an okay experience. Adquate for a place to sleep

We had a great checkin. Arrived a bit early and they could accommodate us before we had to go to our family event in Essex. Front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and help make our stay special.
