Dollar for dollar over 30 plus years I have been coming to the Ivy Rose almost always on work and it has been great dollar value , even after Covid. For $75 it gets it all done. Also , the diner is right next and it is excellent value , quality and service as well. Location is perfect. While it.is not the Waldorf Astoria, it works just fine for workers and travellers looking to rest.

不滿：職員與服務
The price I booked through this service did not match the amount I was originally expected to pay. Additionally, the room I was assigned was not the one I had booked, and I was relocated to rooms that were unsuitable—first due to an incorrect bed size, then to a different building, and finally to a room I had previously stayed in and would never choose again as the shower in it is just, in a word, useless. Furthermore, all the showers here are all very inconsistent, and I was already aware that the one in this room was one of their worst. At that point leaving wasn't an option as it was late, and my travel companion was becoming increasingly irritated. I do hope that this was merely an abberation from their usual above average stay.

We booked a stay in this motel during our long weekend trip between the great lakes - Huron and Erie. As usually, we used Expedia service - that particular time it was the app. We booked a 1 night stay on the go and got confirmation around 9pm and started driving. We arrived at 10:20pm and found that office is closed and shows the sign "working from 10AM to 10PM" - that was such a bitter surprise! Nobody answered the phone, so the only option we found was to cross the border and spend a night in a hotel in another country... What a shame! The next day we reviewed the confirmation email and did fond 1 line in the bottom stating that the motel indeed works from 10 to 10, but who really reads those confirmation emails while driving?! We saw "confirmed" and that was the only thing we usually check... Not sure if I learned something from that day. The amount of info in those multiple emails, texts and app notifications nowadays is so huge and the messages are so irrelevant and redundant, that really important things can really be missed! We would never assume that the hotel (not a small airbnb) might just close the doors for a night! Terrible experience!
