“Words just can’t completely express how excellent this little cottage on the river is! We wanted to have alone family time away from it all, and we literally stumbled across this wonderful place. We’ve never booked anything through Vrbo so we didn’t know what to expect. When we checked in, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! Better than the description and pics! We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay here. Such perfect porch views of the river, and nature- so many birds and duck……

“You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo……

“The Bungalow is well laid out, spacious, well furnished and in a fantastic location for exploring Edenton. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed to be able to eat some of our meals at home. We enjoyed the little screened in porch, too. It is definitely a well designed living space and we hope to be able to come back for a longer visit sometime soon.”

“Back again but for 5 weeks! Waterwinds is even more beautiful than I remember. Brand new deck, beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities. Gorgeous private landscaped waterfront setting. Water on canal side is shallow enough for my 3 and 5 year old great granddaughters to swim. Will be booking next year for sure!”

“We enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to almost everything in town. Close to the water and right across the street from nice little park with boat tours and a dock you could walk out on to see into the sound. There is no TV in the house, we did not know that. Would have been nice to know as we had to find a place to watch college World Series games in evenings. The house had plenty of room for the 2 of us was very clean on inside. No washer /dryer, which would have been needed for an……

“Small flaw with entry lock. But problem resolved quickly. Did not drink coffee I brewed in coffee machine. There was a bug that was poured out. I’m sure bugs are common a everywhere. But otherwise an awesome place to stay. ”

“We are building the house at the Albemarle Plantation and it was good to find a shelter right in the neighborhood. It's a beautiful neighborhood with a wonderful golf course and marina. The club house restaurant, the dockside cafe and the pool just a few minutes from this property. The marina for the boaters is nearby. NIce small condo with all necessary amenities. We enjoyed staying there. Thank you to the owners.”
