“Beautiful place, great ambiance. Our grandson loved the record player and amazing vinyl record collection. Very comfortable four poster beds. Sweet goodies awaited our arrival and a tasty breakfast served. Perfect!”

We were a couple, so a double bed would have been great, but most who go are probably on a mates weekend so we understood the 2 single beds Its super close to everything in town, so although we had a car we didnt need to use it”

Bed base in master that appeared water damaged - not the first thing you want to see in an establishment that you’ve paid good money for. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Fan in bathroom didn’t work properly. Inability to use the Venetian blinds properly. They could be open and closed but not tilted. “We had a great stay at the Shed in Derby. Lovely modern accommodation right in the centre of town with the bike tracks on our doorstep. The shed had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible including a lock up shed for bikes if needed. Right across the road from bike hire and shuttle places and a selection of good restaurants very near by. We will definitely be back 😊”

Derby Digs lacks character and warmth, painted stark white, decorated with cheap looking prints on the walls and single light bulbs in the fixtures on the high ceilings.
