Lovely place to stay. We stayed here as we were visiting Cheddar Gouge. Friendly staff and nice pub downstairs. Big family room and massive bathroom. Everywhere was clean and and well decorated. Nice breakfast included. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. Nice pub and restaurant downstairs. Our room was on the street side and above pub outdoor seating, so it was a little noisy. One of our windows didn’t shut completely, which didn’t help. But it quieted down a lot at night. Very clean and comfortable.

This Inn is easily the best place I've stayed and I am saying that after having travelled to several countries within Europe, central and South America and the Caribbean. It is a very friendly atmosphere. The staff makes you feel like you are at home and welcomed with open arms. I have no criticism towards the Woodborough. Only too much praise. Don't miss out on this gem
