  • This renovated farmhouse (2020) is nestled back in the foothills of Stokes County with breathtaking views of Cook's wall and all the privacy for a relaxing get-away. The older homestead built in the 1800's still stands on the property. The Lucky House's sister home, Treetop, is next door (yet allowing plenty of privacy between the two homes) and sleeps 8 if you need more room for your guests. Treetop's Property ID# is 3934130 and is also available to rent on it's own.
    This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home sleeps 6 and is just minutes from all that Stokes County has to offer including Hanging Rock State Park, Moore Springs Manor, and historic Danbury. Explore the outdoors with hikes to the waterfalls, tube the Dan River, rock climbing and much more!
    Pilot Mountain State Park is also just a short drive away. Wi-Fi streams all you need on a large smart TV in the living area. New (2020) refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, range with oven, microwave, master bedroom and bathroom with beautiful tile shower and double sink vanity, and an outdoor patio with gas grill and fire pit to relax after your day. Wake Forest University and downtown Winston-Salem are a short drive from The Lucky House. Enjoy the revitalized downtown Winston-Salem or King areas with dinner and live music and one of our local tap houses, StoCo Provisions or 1889 Taphouse. This property is beautiful and the host, Emily was outstanding! It was a very peaceful stay that allowed our busy family the chance to relax and connect. Lovely Vacation Spot

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway at the end of autumn. It is near Hanging Rock State Park and a quick drive from Pilot Mountain and JoLo Winery. The house is exactly as advertised and the property has stunning views. The owners included so many special and thoughtful touches.

Together at Thanksgiving

Great rental!

This is our 3rd year staying at the lucky house. It never disappoints. The views are amazing of cooks wall and the property is beatuiful inside and out. It is well maintained and not far from both pilot mountain and hanging rock state parks. Im aure well stay there again.

Charming farmhouse in the foothills!

We were in awe from the moment we stepped into this beautiful home. Everything is as pictured, but the pictures didn’t do the scenery justice. A stunning property and great backyard with fire pit. The owners were responsive and gracious. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
