The only thing I could find to complain about was that the balcony area was piled with leaves when we arrived but other than that it wasn't much of a bother. “Do not pass on booking this home! Absolutely everything a family could ever need is here…inside and out. Immaculate and well furnished, super comfortable king beds and bunk room, and that central wood fireplace…just wow. The kitchen is fully stocked and even offers a guest pantry for non-perishables. “The Whitetail Lodge was perfect for our family. We gathered, cooked, laughed, played and hiked. And on our last night things got Tubular! The lodge was close to many trails and a few within walking distance. Walking our pups was easy. There were many walkers in the area and drivers used caution. We always felt safe.We were trying to get to Humpback Rocks via Blue Ridge Pkey but it was closed so we couldn’t make it. The West side of Blue Ridge Tunnel was a few more minutes up the road so we did……
