“good hotel for the price”

“The room was clean, however it was small and hard to maneuver around. The commode was extremely low. It was a good size for toddlers but not for older adults. I would highly recommend higher ones. The motel is an older structure that has been remodeled.and is NOT in an ideal location. Be.aware of your surroundings when coming and going.”

“Coffee in hallway did not have creamer.”

“My stay was adequate if not slightly overpriced, but I was traveling alone and needed a place to stay. I was given an accessible room which was fine but I could smell cigarette smoke. Unsure if that came from smokers outside or in the room next to me but it was pretty consistent. Everything else was sufficient. ”

“Room looked fine in terms of flooring, furniture , chair and bed linens. Unfortunately as I sat and relaxed I kept seeing little bugs creep out. Then saw bugs creeping out from under the bed frame. Then saw roach run across side of the mattress. Even though it was 12:40 AM. I packed up and left. I had layed a bath towel at the hallway door to keep out the light. When I removed it to leave found a bug under it from coming from the hallway. BEFORE getting in my car, turned everything out,……

“Access and parking was simple and convent. Loved being right on W Main by lots of restaurants and waterfront. Clean, comfortable room.”

I asked for two extra towels but all they had were the small wash cloths. We didn’t take off our cloths. Didn’t shower. Left very early in the morning to get another hotel for comfort.”

We had one towel and wash cloth a piece when we requested another we were told they could not give us more because guest were stealing them 😳. We actually……

“The first room we were given appeared not to have been cleaned in weeks. There was roughly one‑sixth of an inch of dust coating nearly every flat surface in the immediate vicinity, which clearly indicated that basic housekeeping and hygiene standards were not being met. Due to these conditions, we were moved to another room. The second room, however, was in even worse condition and looked as if it had been left in a state of disrepair. The sink was broken and unusable, the bathroom exhaust fan……

“This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here……
