Very nice and polite when we checked in. We didn’t know what to expect at a motel and an older motel key chain, but as soon as we opened the door to the room. To our surprise it smelled fresh and clean! No mildew or old paint smell. New Everything sheets, towels, bed, floor and bathroom! We came up for the Dells on Tap beerfest. Our stay here was very comfortable and our room was very clean. My only suggestions would be to have a little larger and thicker bath towels and to have kleenex in the room, and maybe serve coffee starting at 7am instead of 8. I highly recommend staying here!

Friendly

Owners were super friendly. We came in late and they let our friends check us in and gave them our key, and we took care of the rest in the morning. We were in town for Dells on tap, it was close so we could walk. We will definitely be booking for next year.

It's a discount motel

You get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable. The towels were skimpy. The owners are elderly and want to sell, but they keep the place up as well as they can.

There was a knock at my door at 950am for housekeeping. I didn't open the door. I declined the services and said that i was checking out at 10am. Whoever was on the other said started accusing me of damaging blinds, threatening to bill me for them. Next thing I hear is a key in the door and that person coming into my room because "I'm concered about the blinds!!"

Star Lite Motel has been around for several decades, almost 80 years. Yes, I've seen several negative reviews in previous years. However, the current owners are absolutely Amazing people who in their second season here. These people are very kind and they care a lot about their Motel. No, its not perfect and has a few things they are working on, but for a 2 star Motel, it is very comfortable in my opinion. Plus, they are Polish immigrants who came here the LEGAL WAY!! Please stop and stay with them. God Bless 🙌

Being a 20 year old meaning I’m an adult. Was put right next to office on purpose because of my young age also check in is 25+ didn’t like being watched the whole time I was in and out. Not all 20 year olds are alike with wildness.
