「A massive thank you to Albert and his family for having us stay on their property this weekend. We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. Thank you again! We will be back!」

The only comments to make (not criticisms) is that there is no dryer and the bedrooms are upstairs with one being a walkway….which is fine unless that person wants privacy. 「 A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend」

「Amazing !! Cosy winter cottage, yet modern, fresh decor & interior. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds & linen & fluffy luxurious towels. The breakfast provisions are incredible & the extras available in mini bar for purchase are convenient. 5 minutes to Hahndorf. We didn’t need fur baby friendly but if you do, it’s all here.
