"Overall, I enjoyed my stay immensely. Not a cookie cutter hotel, and everyone is so nice. Like that my cat is welcome. It did take until the third room to get it right; First room: no where to hang my clothes. Second room: there was tv armoire, but no rail in it and if there had been, only my shirt’s would have fit.Plus the room/suite had only a mini fridge, whereas the one I had reserved was supposed to have a full refrigerator. Finally the third room had a full refrigerator, and a closet with a bar(and hangars!) though I had to hang my ankle length dresses on the sliding barn door style rail. The room was spacious and clean, and I loved the non-carpeted floor. The walk through kitchenette had the full refrigerator, a microwave, coffeemaker, deep sink, and a two burner convection (sp?) stove top. Wish the dishware was microwave safe, but the front desk gentleman brought up two plates that could be used. The bathroom was tiny but had what was needed, and two sinks, though it would be a tight, awkward fit if both were being used at the same time. The comfy king bed had what seemed to be an unattached padded headboard. The window had a nice sill my cat throughly enjoyed, with a pond rimmed-with-trees view. Big tv with a fairly easy to figure out remote. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, a nice variety, and the Scramblers restaurant attached is a yummy alternative. Didn’t use the pool this time. Parking is ample and free. Location convenient. Love staying here at “the Castle”."
