"Had a fantastic stay throughout my visit. Receptionist at check in was so helpful as I have some mobility issues but I don’t require an accessible room and can use upper floors with a lift, however she checked that incase of an emergency would I require assistance which to be honest most hotels do not check this. Got a first floor room which was great and close to the lift which was ideal.
The room was amazing it was huge or should I say rooms! It was stunning. It was spotless too. Huge tvs, 2 great heavy duty fans as it was at the start of the recent heatwave, nice view over some of the waterfront too. The bed was a superbly comfortable king spotless bedding and lovely pillows. Coffee pod machine too which was a nice touch. Water and pop in mini fridge which we weren’t expecting.
Bathroom a little outdated but done to a high standard and beautifully maintained so this wasn’t an issue. Shower had been updated with a new rainfall shower head which was great.
We didn’t use the facilities unfortunately but the bar and restaurant looked welcoming and had some offers on as advertised in the lift. Nice outdoor seating area. Pool looks great too.
Excellent base for visiting and exploring in and around the Black Country and for Merry Hill Shopping which is huge.
Will be finding an excuse to come back soon!!!"
