There are plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. You have a full kitchen at your disposal with a good size dining table and there is also a washer/dryer if you need them. “This home is great for a peaceful get-away. With the exception of one other home nearby, it's almost on its own, so it's quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. A short drive took us down through a neighborhood to sit by the lake. Back at the house, it was nice to end evenings watching the bright stars from the porch. “Kent’s Cabin was perfect for the two of us. Since we were biking the New River Trail, it was a great location. And only 20 minutes to the charming town of Wytheville. The cabin was spotless and very cozy. Being a little chilly at night, the gas fireplace was very welcoming. There was everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Hearing the stream flow past the house was a bonus. Ann and Judi were the perfect hosts. My husband and I would definitely stay here again. We loved……

Staff was very responsive when assistance was needed, and we'll definitely keep this property on the horizon for another visit. The biggest challenge was navigating the very narrow private road. “The outdoor space on this property is stunning. There is a lot of outdoor space to entertain and the views are so pretty. Would be amazing for a summer party. The inside was very musty when we first got there and we had to go out and get candles to chase away the smell. By the next day it was pretty much gone so I’m thinking it just hadn’t been used in a while.”

“We had a wonderful stay for our family of 4. The kids very much enjoyed the big yard and the game room in the basement. There are also TONS of things to do in the area! Multiple wineries, a Safari Park, a State Park with a beach, Hiking, Kayaking, Canoeing. Lots of fishing, including right in your own back yard in the New River! The kids caught a few blue gill and even a small mouth bass! We would DEFINITELY come stay again, and even plan on renting a few houses for a group of families in the……

“I never do reviews, but was so impressed I am sharing. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Had booked a year in advance for my daughter’s graduation. It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go.
