“I would stay here again! That says a lot! The views and getting to pet the horses was an incredible experience. The AC was new! I saw maybe 2 ants. The kitchen had plenty of pots & pans to cook for our group of 12. There are 6 bedrooms. The two queen beds in a large space, is in the basement plus two bedrooms. Everyone slept well. The linen was plentiful in each bathroom & the kitchen. Always love to have a welcome basket upon arrival of the VRBO. Kirby was prompt to answer any questions via……

“This cabin is located on a "still" portion of the New River well above Claytor Lake in Virginia. The property had kayaks, outdoor charcoal grilling and is just across the river from miles of the New River biking trail. The cabin is well maintained, built with quality and full of amenities. During our short stay we saw deer grazing, eagles soaring over the river hoping for a catch and a muskie working the river's edge feeding on small fish in the early morning. Much of "the New" was hard hit……

“My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.”

One of us left an item at the cabin & Heather graciously found it & shipped it to us. We enjoyed the shops in the nearby towns. “Wonderful cabin and setting! Enjoyed our stay very much. Our car is 2WD without high clearance, but with careful driving on the gravel road we had no problem. It was so relaxing sitting on the porch overlooking the grounds and the river, or in the gazebo down by the water. We would happily return and definitely recommend. ”
