  • At the edge of the charming and peaceful village of Xaintray, near the Marais Poitevin, the the Mélissière is a little paradise to relax, rest, away from the stress and continuing agitation.
    The House of Margot is the former bread oven in the house Mélissière.
    It is in the courtyard of the house and ensures peace and quiet for the whole family. Fully restored respecting the regional tradition, this stone country house offers a living area of ​​110 sqm and can accommodate up to 9 people.
    On the ground floor, fitted 28 m² kitchen, toilet, bedroom 20 m² with 160x200 bed and toilet / shower room. Upstairs large living room of 40 m² with two sofa beds in 140 and a sitting area with bed 90X200, toilet, bedroom 20 m² with bed 160x200 and cot, toilet / shower room.
    The pool is fully secure (fence to standards NF) has comfortable proportions (10 m X 5 m - depth from 120 to 180) and offers all the joys of swimming. Terrace 2 m 2 m 50 wide will allow you to enjoy the sunshine on the sun beds around. The pool is shared with the guests of the Logis de la Mélissière. This is never a problem of cohabitation, everyone finds his pleasure. It is accessible at will at any time of the day.
    A large garden allows children to have fun and grow in freedom.

Gîte très agréable dans un cadre magnifique. Rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Les hôtes sont très accueillants.Seul petit bémol, pour le prix demandé cela demanderait un ménage un peu plus approfondi. Même si nous sommes à la campagne, des toiles d'araignées auraient pu être enlevées. Sinon le gîte ne manque de rien au niveau vaisselle et cuisine, et les hôtes sont très disponibles.

Wonderful gite

An absolutely beautiful gite with super grounds and swimming pool. The whole place was so relaxing and peaceful, and the courtyard table for meals was gorgeous. Owners were so friendly and we enjoyed meeting them.

Superbe logement au coeur du paradis!

Nous sommes ravis de la semaine que nous avons passé au Gîte de la Mélissière. La propriété est superbe et entretenue avec soin, avec de nombreux espaces pour les enfants. Le gîte est parfaitement entretenu, nous y avons été tres bien!

Beautiful and peaceful

Very pretty cottage, both inside and outside. Lovely grounds, very relaxing and peaceful. Brigitte and Lionel made us feel very welcome and made sure everything was catered for. Pool very nice and we enjoyed using the table tennis / games area in the adjoining barn. Good location for visiting surrounding attractions. Hope to return in the future!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful gite. Brigitte and Lionel were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The gite itself and grounds are beautifully maintained - we felt super relaxed when we left having spent the week swimming, lying in hammocks and exploring the nature in the garden. Semaine entre amis

Agréable séjour dans le Gîte de Margot ou tout le nécessaire est a disposition. Propriétaires charmants, discrets et disponibles. Plusieurs activités possibles autour de la belle et grande piscine qui a fait le bonheur des enfants. Le gîte est éloigné (Xaintray n'est qu'un très petit village), mais il garantit ainsi beaucoup de tranquilité. Nous étions 9 et ce n'était pas un problème. Le marais Poitevin se trouve à 1/2 heure du gîte.

Superbe!!

Tout était parfait : l'accueil, la maison Margot avec une mention spéciale pour la très jolie décoration et les beaux tableaux, on se sent tellement bien à l'intérieur. Le jardin est immense et très bien entretenu avec des jeux pour enfants, une table de ping pong mais également des espaces de repos (hamacs et transats), et enfin la piscine au top ! Nous avons séjourné avec 6 enfants âgés de 4 ans à 9 ans et tout le monde gardera de très bons souvenirs! Merci encore à Brigitte et Lionel ! Nous recommandons les yeux fermés. Fantine et Assiatou
