"The young man who owns the house was very helpful, although communication was difficult, due to his lack of English speaking skills, so initially the pick up was a little unclear and this meant it took a few days to get the hot tub working. The house was very nice, though, comfortable and clean. We soon realised we were too far out of the main tourist area, when we walked into the centre. "Zeer onpersoonlijk. Geen contact met een persoon, enkel een kluisje met je sleutel. Donker en vochtig appartement. Blijkbaar ook veel last van vocht want de muren tussen badkamer en living waren reeds afgebladerd. Twee terrassen waarvan eentje helemaal niet gebruikt wordt, vuil is en geen meubilair heeft. Bedden zijn niet comfortabel. Pover bestek en beperkt aantal glazen (geen wijnglazen). Zeer kleine douche. Kortom zou ik hiervoor nauwelijks de helft wat men vraagt er voor betalen. Dus prijs...

Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa – Adults only (+18)

"Overall a good experience, however it’s not the same standard of property that we have experienced elsewhere at 5 star all inclusive resorts. We were standard all inclusive which was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend the Preferred upgrade as you get the same room, just a separate pool area, which uses the exact same sun beds as the rest of the resort, which are fine but nothing special."

"Second year running at this wonderful hotel right on the promenade. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing with a fantastic selection of food for all tastes. Brilliantly located, left to the marina with shops and restaurants and right to Playa Blanca shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend."

"A really lovely well maintained hotel. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice. All the staff that we spoke to were really friendly and helpful. Really loved how peaceful it was in the day. The location was perfect, just the right distance for a stroll into Playa Blanca. We were given an upgrade on arrival so had access to the quiet pool, self service bar and seating area which, except for some road noise, was great. We also used the main pool a lot and the service at the bar and at lunch couldn’t be faulted. Would definitely recommend."

"Whole trip was execellent hotel should be 5* not 4* All staff were brilliant especially manager Maria who helped me whilst I had to see the hotel doctor The doctor is a private one but doesn’t state anywhere Once I’d seen him he wanted €780 I didn’t pay I went reception next morning where manager Maria help me and my wife Maria was excellent she evening extended our check out from midday to 6pm because off the problem we encountered"
