Of the hundreds of hotels that I’ve stayed at in Asia over the past 20 years this is one of the very best! And I so wish I could stay at the Chatrium again in the future, because pretty much everything was perfect. The only problem is some highly inappropriate material displayed in the main reception area, and so in good conscience I cannot ever stay at this fine hotel in the future. Thanks so much for all the great memories from previous stays. Your accommodations and staff have been spectacular

This was my second time staying at Chatrium and they really rolled out the red carpet for me! They upgraded my room and left me a complimentary fruit basket and personalized welcome letter. The room amenities were upgraded too. This is my favorite hotel for staycatuons by far and their spa is top notch and their dinner options are superior. I must also mention how their breakfast caters to Western tastes with also vegetarian options and local Burmese options. The cafe has so much to offer as well, and their wait staff--especially Ms. Bam Bam are extremely friendly, helpful, and doting. I highly recommend staying here and taking advantage of all the offerings.

I love how it wasn’t just a hotel. It was an immersion into Thai, but also Myanmar culture. The restaurant served the best international breakfast I’ve had while in Asia and it also had the best Thai food I’ve had in either Thailand or Myanmar. The staff goes above and beyond, and they are super friendly and helpful. they have many things on site such as their spa, but they also have a very beautiful swimming pool. They upgraded my room so that I could have a stunning view of the famous pagoda. Needless to say, I will be staying here again, and I might make it a monthly staycation.

The Chatrium is reputed to be one of the luxury hotels in Yangon. It did not measure up to my idea of luxury. The room was nice, but the toilet did not flush completely. My room felt like it was above a club even though the club was across the street. I could feel the beat vibrations in the room. My experience was also tainted by the huge amount of people at the hotel because of the Thingyan festival. It was not a quiet, relaxing experience. They did, however, have really good fish and chips.

The hotel is located next to a big lagoon which is perfect for running. It is surrounded with trees, looks and feels exotic. One of the best features of this hotel is how friendly and accommodating the staffs are. We arrived late and our room was ready with the air-conditioning on and a tea sachet with a sweet note from the room service staff. We have to leave very early to catch an early flight and the breakfast was ready as they promised. They have good selection of food and everything was perfectly delivered.

I loved the unique decoration styles throughout the lounges—they give the place a luxurious charm. The rooms are very clean, but the building itself feels older and could use some updates. The staff were wonderful: friendly, pleasant, and never intrusive. My favorite part was the swimming pool. With palm trees all around and the gym close by, it felt like stepping into a tropical forest from a distant era, complete with antique touches in the design. Breakfast offered a few Burmese dishes, though I wish there were more choices.

久しぶりののミャンマー、快適に過ごせました

久しぶりのミャンマーだったので、見晴らしの良い部屋を希望したところ、上階のパゴダの見える室を用意してもらいました。日没頃に美しく見えるパゴダを毎日堪能できました。その他のサービスも完璧でした
