Great Stay!

Absolutely would book this again. It was well maintained, had everything for a cozy nights sleep, and was in a great location (about 100 meters from a bus stop with a bus that took about 20 minutes to get to York City Center).

Cosy Barn conversion, we loved it.

What a beautiful cosy barn conversion, done to a very high standard. From the minute we walked in, it felt like home and had everything we needed for our stay. Fixtures and fittings were of great quality, the decor was lavish (loved the top hat hanging bedside light) and the bath was a hit for relaxing after a long journey. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great too. We loved that heating was so easily controlled by just turning the radiator controls and it took no time to warm up the space when we arrived. Tea, coffee and milk pots were provided and helpful.

Great for a weekend exploring

Close to a bus route so very convenient, we used the bus rather than driving but there was plenty of parking. The property was perfect for a retreat away from the world.

Good directions and easy to find. Had an unpredictable problem when we arrived, however, I judge on how well a problem is dealt with rather than the problem itself, and Laura and Claire did everything possible to resolve the problem in an efficient and customer focused way. Lovely Place

The studio apartment was beautiful, and really clean throughout. Perfect setting, large garden space. Cosy room with a bath in the main room which was was lovely for a couples time away. we will definitely return. Absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Although located outside the centre of york, it was easy access into the City! Hosts very accommodating and responded very quickly when we had a query!

Lovely Stay

This is a lovely place to stay. Nicely decorated, clean, warm and comfortable. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Useful info was left in the studio - Eg places to eat, bus timetables etc.
