“This was my second time at this cottage and hope to stay again. It rained the whole time! But, with such a cozy place to read and relax, listen to the rain and enjoy the ambiance it was lovely. I walked for a nice dinner at the Hideaway. I walked to Mt Gretna Mercantile for a few treats and always enjoy chatting with the sweet owners. I had an incredible lunch at Porch and Pantry. All without getting in my car. I highly recommend!”

“We came up for Easter and 2 family birthdays. For us, the location was primary, for others, I can only say this would be a perfect base of operations for day trips in the area. The house is lovely, there was a small glitch which was taken care of right away. Too soon for pond swimming, but it is an option. Oh, the bison? Yep, right next door.”

“I believe this was the cleanest place I have ever stayed at before. Wooden floors throughout you can walk barefoot and not even feel dust under your feet. The house had so much character, it was very comfortable to stay in. The only thing I didnt realize when booking the place was the location. By the pictures it looked like it was located on a back county road but its actually located on a pretty busy road with houses all around it. I will say the location was ideal for us even being located in……

“Much older home with 2 bathrooms ,one on second floor and one on third floor . There was an awful smell coming from the tub on 3rd, floor. My son being a plumber said it was not vented properly. Bedrooms were all upstairs 2nd and 3rd floor, very comfortable beds and clean, Stairs were narrow and hard to climb for the older ones staying, especially just to go to bathroom. Only 1 parking space for property so any extra vehicles had to park elsewhere away from the house, We had to be dropped off……

“We enjoyed having this little house to stay at for the last two nights on our way home from our honeymoon. We enjoyed the side deck and the hot tub, and appreciated being able to do laundry there. Also, we enjoyed biking along the nearby rail-trail along the Susquehanna River and going to see "Daniel" at Sight and Sound Theatre. Thanks for a nice place to stay!”
