Harmony Tea House's kitchen is a light filled, modern space. Appliances include a dishwasher, Smeg refrigerator, blender, hand mixer, and multiple coffee & tea makers. All cabinets are fully stocked with dishes, platters, and cookware. Like the rest of the home, even the kitchen offers peaceful views. The indoor dining table seats six and you will find a large outdoor table set for eight if you prefer the aestheticism of nature.

The outdoor space had been arranged to optimize relaxation and engagement with the desert, and to capture as much of the high desert’s sun as possible. Mature cacti surround the back area, a propane fire-pit is centered in the middle, and behind the house, you’ll find a homestead cabin turned into an extra space for work or writing.

THE TEA HOUSE

Visitors come to the High Desert for its unique landscape, culture, and recreational opportunities, as well as for the weather - hot and dry summers and mild winters at our high altitude. Joshua Tree and the communities surrounding the Joshua Tree National Park include Flamingo Heights, Pioneertown, Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, and Landers. You’ll be close to everything at Harmony Tea House, on El Dorado. Some of our favorite options available to you:

–Joshua Tree National Park: 800,000 acres of mystical beauty - Joshua Tree National Park is one of the world’s most incredible natural desert treasures. Sweeping, grand in scale and populated by granite monoliths and voluptuous rock and boulder formations. This quiet land, conducive to meditation and roaming, was carved by extremes in climate - wind, rain and an ever-present, relentless sun. Diverse forms of plant life are found everywhere, but none as unique or prevalent as the park’s namesake: the Joshua tree, standing majestically across the vast topography.

–Pioneertown: Step back in time to thus rustic Old West-style village. Wander through the historic buildings, visit unique shops, catch a live music performance at Pappy & Harriets, and experience the Wild West charm.

– The Integratron: New age-y healing destination with a sound bath, originally designed by ufologist George Van Tassel with the goal of reversing the aging process.

► FAMILY: Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered with a few supplies including a Pack ’n play/travel crib, children's books, toys and dinnerware, and even babysitter recommendations! / Please request in advance

► PETS: Your dog is welcome, and there is a one-time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per booking.

Yucca Mesa is situated within a short drive from the most popular attractions in the High Desert, offering an incredible combination of convenience and tranquility. During the day, you can explore nature in your own backyard, and at night, the stargazing can’t be beat.

This area is located just minutes from shopping and dining in Joshua Tree Village and Yucca Valley, and the drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park takes about 15 minutes.

This home is located on a dirt road, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.
