The villa was fantastic, well sized inside, the pool area impressive, and the host had thoughtfully stocked the fridge and provided wine, bread, tea and other essentials, saving us a trip to the shops on arrival.
The villa is well located, with an excellent restaurant nearby and Tsillivi town and the beach just a 15-minute walk away.
Our host, Fred, was exceptional: friendly, helpful and kind enough to collect a prescription when one of our children developed an ear infection. His restaurant, Micriacropoli, serves excellent traditional food, with playful plate-breaking followed by singing and a lively party atmosphere. This is based in Tsillivi and you get star treatment from the host Fred, who is naturally warming.
Tsillivi has plenty of excellent restaurants worth returning to, and Zante’s old town is also well worth a visit. The villa is ideally placed for both.
In short, this was the best villa we have stayed in, comfortably accommodating our two families—four parents and four children—with by far the best host we have ever had.
We would return tomorrow—a fantastic holiday all round. Thank you, Fred!
