“Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. The same is true of the game drives, one was incredible, the other was quite mediocre. Food too, sometimes was exceptional (like the BBQ at the poolside bar), at……

“A lovely lodge located on a gentle hill overlooking the plains. Staff are phenomenal, warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We went on a morning game drive and a sundowner, both were excellently arranged. Whilst there is limited choice for food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all provided and the food was tasty and homemade well seasoned. They made our daughter chips. We loved the warm rock cakes! “Lovely welcome on arrival. Tent was clean, private, comfortable with fabulous views. Staff were attentive, served us with a smile and could not do enough for us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and tea with cookies was a nice touch at 4 pm. We had a wonderful game drive with Dusty, who is very knowledgeable, informing us about local customs in the area too. I was unfortunately not well during our stay, however the staff could not be more accommodating and kind to me.”
